I have an interest in cancer and through my research I came upon Ingrid Naiman’s web site. Ingrid describes herself as a medical philosopher and counselor and has an interest in holistic medicine. She has written a book 'Cancer Salves - A Botanical Approach to Treatment' which I found to be a very comprehensive, educational and informative read.

It has been said of her book:

'An objective and scholarly book that demystifies one of history's most proven alternatives to surgery and internal treatment of cancer.

Ingrid provides a complete description of how the salves, herbal tonics and boluses work and why they are reasonable alternatives to the procedures and protocols of modern science. In the historical overview, Ingrid describes the salves and techniques used by leading physicians and natural healers from the Middle Ages onwards.

Ingrid gives a chronology of the evolvement of cancer salves, their formulae and brief biographies of the practitioners who formulated and applied cancer salves in their respective practices'.

My experiences using the Black Salve cancer salve.

Some ten years ago during my annual physical check up my general practitioner noticed a suspicious looking mole on my back the size of my small fingers finger nail, above, yet adjacent to my right shoulder blade which he diagnosed as a basal cell carcinoma (BCC). An appointment was made to excise it. It was then that I decided I would try and source the Black Salve cancer salve and was successful in doing so. Upon receipt of the Black Salve I was then in two minds whether to apply it prior to my appointment. As it happened my practitioner had to cancel my appointment since he had an emergency to which he had to attend. It would be some two months before my next appointment so I therefore decided to treat myself with the Black Salve.

I treated myself in accordance with the procedure as outlined in Ingrid’s book. Briefly, a black plug develops over approximately two weeks after which time it falls away from the site. The site had healed over without incident by the time I attended my appointment to have it excised. During the discussion that took place prior to the excision I requested that my practitioner take a biopsy of the site and advised him what I had done. Needless to say he was extremely sceptical and remarked "What if it comes back positive?” to which I responded "What if it comes back negative?” I ultimately permitted him to excise the site with the resulting pathology being negative.

Since then I have since successfully treated three more BCCs, one each on the calves of both legs and one on my nose.

This is biography about Phillip Day who has researched cancer for in excess of ten years resulting in his controversial book 'Cancer: Why We’re Still Dying To Know The Truth'. The information contained in the book, deliberately not promoted by the medical establishment, forms the basis of the research and promotional work in which Phillip’s research and investigational units are engaged.

It has been said about Brian:

Brian’s great genius is "connecting the dots” between established sciences that usually remain separated, and coupling his findings with real-life results. He combines theory with practicality in a very unique way. Even thought Brian does not always take credit for the science he has studied – he is often only the messenger of the information already published in leading medical textbooks and medical journals -- he has also been called a "quack.

Brian refers to Otto Henreich Warburg who won the 1931 Nobel Prize for his work in Physiology or Medicine and who wrote a significant paper on the causation of cancer 'The Metabolism of Tumors'
